Author Guidelines

Piccadilly Books, Ltd. welcomes manuscript submissions from authors. We are currently looking for books in the areas of natural health, nutrition, diet, physical fitness, and related topics.

We publish hardcover originals, trade paperback originals, and reprints. Most of our authors are unagented. We welcome first time authors with a good book idea and the ability to express themselves in writing. We are happy to work with writers in developing their work into salable, educational products that would be of value to our customers.

We prefer to see the entire manuscript, but will accept a minimum of three sample chapters on your first inquiry. A cover letter is also required. In the cover letter please provide a brief overview of the book. Include information about similar books already in print and explain why yours is different or better. Tell us the prime market for your book and what you can do to help market it. Also, provide us with background information on yourself and explain what qualifies you to write this book.

We normally respond to submissions and inquiries within two months. Simultaneous submissions are acceptable. Please include a self-addressed stamped envelope for a response. If you want your submission materials returned, include sufficient postage and a return envelope large enough to accommodate it.
